New Girl Scout members can start their adventure today and join Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P) at a discounted price for a limited time through the Extended Year promotion.
While the standard Girl Scout Membership renews annually on October 1, the Extended Year Membership offers all girls rising K-12 and adult members the chance to purchase an 18-month Girl Scout Membership. New members can begin their Girl Scout experience now, receive a discount and enjoy up to six extra months of fun through September 2026.
“It’s important to our council that we provide opportunities like the Extended Year offer so any girl or adult can maximize their time as a Girl Scout member,” said Jennifer Wilcox, CEO of GSCP2P. “We encourage all girls and adults to experience the benefits of Girl Scouting, and this is a great opportunity to kickstart a year of exploration.”
New girl members can join for $63 and new adult members for $42, and the membership is valid starting April 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. New Girl Scout Daisies (rising grades K-1) will receive three monthly activity books, ongoing support from Girl Scouts of the USA, a complimentary gift and invitations to local summer events.
Girl Scouts is a place for families with girls in grades K-12 to have fun and exciting adventures. “Your Year of Exploration” is all about discovering new interests, making friends and building confidence while exploring a world of possibilities.
Volunteers who start a new Daisy (grades K-1) or Brownie (grades 2-3) troop can receive a complimentary Girl Scout Experience Box mailed monthly to their homes and filled with supplies and step-by-step instructions to rock their troop meetings and have a year of fun with support.
