Mooresville, NC – Local resident Sheldon Hipps, owner of HSquared Carpet Cleaning located in Lake Norman, is taking action to aid in hurricane relief efforts in the affected areas.
Hipps, a native of Hendersonville, is loading up his trailer with supplies to distribute to those in need. His mission includes providing food, water and other essential items.
“We’re heading up north to make a difference,” Hipps explained. “We’ll be preparing chili and peanut butter sandwiches to distribute to those affected by the hurricane.”
Hipps expressed his gratitude for the community’s support. “Mooresville really stepped up,” he said. “I collected $300 at The Counter just for this trip.”
Hipps encourages others to join him in the relief efforts. “If anyone wants to donate supplies or contribute to the cause, please reach out to me at 828-699-2943,” he said. “I’ll be making numerous trips up there. This situation is serious, and we need to come together to help. This is not going away soon, it’s bad news people. Just pray…if nothing else pray.”
