The Town of Mooresville is proud to announce that legendary R&B vocalist Peabo Bryson will bring his “Golden Touch Tour” to Mooresville on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 6 p.m. This performance is part of Bryson’s 50th Anniversary celebration tour that spans North America, Europe, and Africa throughout 2025.
Known as the “King of Balladeers” and praised by The New York Times as the “Pavarotti of Soul Singer,” Peabo Bryson has established himself as one of the premier male vocalists in modern music. With his rich voice, the two-time Academy Award winner and two-time Grammy Award recipient has maintained an extraordinary career spanning five decades.
Bryson holds the distinction of being the first artist in music history to have separate records topping four different charts. His impressive catalog includes twenty-five albums and numerous chart-topping hits, including “Feel the Fire,” “I’m So Into You,” and “Can You Stop The Rain.”
Many fans know Bryson for his iconic Disney duets. The Billboard #1 hit “Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion and “A Whole New World” from Aladdin with Regina Belle, both of which won Academy Awards for “Best Song”
His most recent album, “Stand of Love,” produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, continues to showcase the timeless mix of soul and pop that has made Peabo Bryson a beloved figure in music.
The concert will be hosted at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center (MPAC), a premier performing arts venue created through a partnership between the Mooresville Graded School District and the Town of Mooresville. This state-of-the-art facility features a 1,695-seat auditorium and serves as a cornerstone for live entertainment and programming in the community.
