A new waterfront dining destination is coming to Mooresville, bringing renewed activity to a well-known Lake Norman location.
Vitale Hospitality Group is transforming the former Queens Landing site at 1459 River Highway into Vitale Lakeside, with an anticipated opening in May 2026. The development represents an investment of more than $3 million and aims to introduce a new dining and entertainment experience along the lake.

The project will include a family-friendly restaurant, a floating bar, 38 boat slips, and an upscale second-floor lounge named Bonnie & Clyde’s. The location is designed to offer both dining and entertainment options in a waterfront setting.

Vitale Lakeside will feature a 9,000-square-foot ground floor restaurant serving a variety of menu items including seafood, burgers, pizza, and steak. The second floor will offer a more upscale atmosphere with high-end cocktails.

Additional features will include a rooftop stage, an expansive patio for outdoor dining, and direct lake access through the 38 boat slips. The design is intended to make the venue accessible both by land and by water.

The renovation is being led by Gennaro and Susan Vitale of the Charlotte-based Vitale Hospitality Group. The project focuses on revitalizing the former Queens Landing property, which has been closed since the summer of 2023.

Vitale Lakeside is expected to open in May 2026.
