Mooresville Mayor & Dog Mayor Reya Visit Local Schools to Celebrate Mooresville’s Birthday

Students at local schools were in for a treat as Mooresville’s
Mayor, Chris Carney, and Dog Mayor, Reya, made special visits to their schools in celebration of the Town of Mooresville’s birthday and to promote the Mooresville Day Celebration set to take place this Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12-4 p.m. in Downtown Mooresville.

During the visits, the Mayor spoke about the importance of community involvement and leadership, while students were given the opportunity to ask questions to both Mayor Carney and Reya. Students enjoyed cupcakes and Reya the Dog Mayor enjoyed soaking up the belly rubs and plenty of love from her newest fans. The visited schools included
