Pumpkin Picking at Carrigan Farms

MOORESVILLE, NC – As Autumn approaches, Carrigan Farms, a North Carolina Century Farm, invites families to embark on a fall adventure with their annual pick-your-own pumpkin experience. Enjoy the charm of an old-fashioned tractor-drawn hayride and join the search for the great pumpkin! With a variety of pumpkins in every shape and size, you can find your perfect pumpkin!

On Saturdays and Sundays apple cider donuts and slushies are available. The Carrigan Farms market also has other seasonal varieties of pumpkins and gourds available for purchase. Advanced reservations are required and the price is $15 dollars per person, this includes picking a pumpkin from their patch. The farm and food truck are cash only.

Carrigan farms grows approximately twenty acres of jack-o-lantern style large, round, orange pumpkins. Videos detailing the pumpkin production process at Carrigan Farms are available on their YouTube channel and links to those videos are located on their website, Carriganfarms.com.


A 5th generation family-owned farm, Carrigan Farms specializes in growing quality fruits and vegetables, educational school tours and field trips, weddings, swim parties, and other special events.

Pumpkin Picking begins September 21st and will last through October 31st.
