Pine Lake Preparatory marked a major milestone today with a ceremonial groundbreaking for its new academic building, representing the next step in the school’s Building the Future initiative.
Faculty and staff and their children, builder representatives, and board members gathered on campus to celebrate the start of construction immediately following the last (half) day of school to turn the first ceremonial shovels of dirt.
The campus project reflects Pine Lake Preparatory’s continued growth and the need to expand its facilities to serve students and staff better.
The 26,450-square-foot academic building will add 13 classrooms, 10 offices, a large meeting space and a student-run coffee shop and school store. The facility will support the school’s expanding programs and growing enrollment. “As our school has grown, quite simply, we have outgrown our current facilities,” said Andrew Moceri, Executive Director of Pine Lake Preparatory. “To continue meeting the needs of our students and staff, we must add a new academic building that will provide much-needed classroom, meeting, and office space.”

Friday’s ceremony represents more than the start of construction; it reflects a long-term investment in the future of Pine Lake Students. The Building the Future initiative focuses on ensuring the campus continues to meet the evolving needs of its students, staff and programs for years to come.
While today’s groundbreaking focused on the academic building, it is part of a broader long-term vision that also includes future enhancements to athletic facilities.
Construction will begin immediately, with completion expected in Summer 2027.
Pine Lake Preparatory extends its appreciation to the families, staff and donors whose ongoing support has helped bring this vision to life.
