Rock the Park Summer Concert Series Returns to Liberty Park for 2026 Season

The Town of Mooresville is excited to announce the return of the Rock the Park Summer Concert Series, bringing five unforgettable nights of live music, energy, and community spirit to Liberty Park from May through September 2026.

This free concert series has become a seasonal tradition, drawing crowds to Downtown Mooresville for evenings of live entertainment. Each event features performances by number one tribute and regional bands, along with food vendors and a vibrant, family- friendly atmosphere.

Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy food and activities beginning at 6 p.m., with performances starting at 6:30 p.m.
2026 Concert Lineup:

  • Friday, May 1 – The Entertainers
    With more than 30 years of experience, The Entertainers have become a staple of Southern beach music, carrying on a rich tradition rooted in R&B and coastal Carolina culture. Blending beach music classics with Top 40, classic rock, and country, The Entertainers continue to keep dance floors packed.
  • Friday, June 5 – Sail On
    Sail On brings the timeless sound of The Beach Boys to life with a full set of classic hits and hidden gems from the band’s celebrated catalog. Their live performances capture the spirit of an Endless Summer with rich harmonies and meticulous attention to detail. From fan favorites to deeper cuts, Sail On delivers a vibrant, feel-good experience that keeps audiences singing along.
  • Friday, July 10 – The Legacy Motown Revue
    The Legacy Motown Revue is a dynamic tribute band celebrating the iconic sound of Motown and classic soul. Featuring smooth choreography and a tight six-piece horn section, the group brings to life hits from legends like The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Drifters, The Jacksons, and Earth, Wind & Fire. With polished musicianship and high-energy performances, The Legacy delivers an authentic, crowd-moving experience that honors one of the most influential eras in music.
  • Friday, August 7 – Yacht Rock Radio
    Yacht Rock Radio is a nationally touring tribute act delivering the smooth sounds of artists like Toto, Christopher Cross, The Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald, and Hall & Oates. Fronted by American Idol standout Carsen Webb and powerhouse vocalist Melody Hagar, the band combines standout vocals with top-
    tier musicianship and tight harmonies. With infectious energy, crowd interaction, and nonstop nostalgia, Yacht Rock Radio turns every performance into a feel- good, sing-along experience.
  • Friday, September 4 – Big 80’s Tribute Band
    The Big 80s Tribute Band delivers a high-energy performance that captures the iconic sound and spirit of 1980s rock and pop. Featuring electrifying guitar work, dynamic keyboards, and a driving rhythm section, the band recreates the era’s biggest hits with authenticity. Their engaging stage presence and nonstop energy make every show a full-scale throwback party.

Located at Liberty Park (225 E. Iredell Avenue) in the heart of Downtown Mooresville, Rock the Park offers the perfect setting for a summer evening with friends and family. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to relax and enjoy the show.
