Publix Super Markets, a well-known grocery chain headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, is further expanding its presence in Mooresville, North Carolina. The company is set to open a new 48,000-square-foot store within Harris Farms at 7 a.m. on October 23. This location is situated at 1254 Coddle Creek Highway, conveniently located near downtown Mooresville.
This marks the second Publix store in Mooresville. The first store opened in 2016 at Brawley Commons, located at 631 Brawley School Road. This initial store has been serving the community for several years, offering a wide range of grocery products, fresh produce, and other convenient services.
Jared Glover, media relations manager for Publix, expressed the company’s excitement about expanding in the Mooresville area. He stated, “Charlotte is a rapidly growing region, and our real estate team has received numerous requests to open more stores in this area. We are committed to meeting the needs of the community and are pleased to have the opportunity to serve Mooresville residents with our second store.”
