Park View Elementary School Celebrates Safe Routes to School Day

Mooresville, NC – Park View Elementary School kicked off their day with a celebration of safe routes to school. Students and parents participated in a walk, bike, and roll event to promote pedestrian safety.

It was thrilling to see so many families participate in this important event. It’s a great way to encourage healthy transportation options and remind everyone of the importance of safety on the roads.

Participants showed off their colorful bikes, scooters, and helmets as they made their way to school. The event also included a reminder to look left, right, and left again before crossing the street, walk on sidewalks or paths, and use crosswalks and traffic signals.
