Fifth Third Bank is bringing the spirit of community to downtown Mooresville with their annual Fifth Third Day (5/3) celebration—and this year, they’re making a BIG difference! Throughout May, both Mooresville branches are hosting a food drive to support FeedNC, helping to provide meals for local families in need. The team has already kicked off the festivities with a breakfast for customers last Friday, and now they’re asking for your help! You can drop off non-perishable items at either branch, knowing that your donation will go directly to a great cause.

“This initiative is close to our hearts as we aim to address hunger and support those in need right here in our community,” said Kimberley Foster, Assistant Vice President and Financial Center Manager III at Fifth Third Bank.
FeedNC is a local nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger by providing food and resources to those in need across Mooresville and surrounding areas. Their mission is to ensure that no one in the community goes hungry, and your donation will help provide vital meals to families who need it most.

In addition to supporting FeedNC, Fifth Third employees are also giving back by volunteering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina in Charlotte. Second Harvest serves a large region in North and South Carolina, working to distribute food to those facing hunger. Your contributions will make a tangible impact at both the local and regional levels.

Every can, box, and bag makes an impact, and together, we can bring us one step closer to a hunger-free community. So, grab those extra cans from your pantry, swing by the bank, and help make this food drive a success. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate Fifth Third Day and support our neighbors here in Mooresville!

Don’t forget, you can also visit the Fifth Third Bank Port Village branch at 141 Williamson Rd, Mooresville, 28117, to participate!
