Hope of Mooresville (HOMe), is proud to announce the winner of the 2026 Housing Heroes Challenge, Prospect Presbyterian Church. Prospect’s team raised $7,533 and combined with the other teams, an incredible total of $21,000 to support families experiencing homelessness in the local community.
The Housing Heroes teams rallied support, raised funds, and helped shine a light on the urgent need for safe, stable housing in the Lake Norman area. Their hard work and enthusiasm exemplify the spirit of what it means to be a Housing Hero.
While top fundraisers were recognized, the true winners of the campaign are the families served by HOMe. Funds raised will go directly toward providing temporary shelter, case management, and critical resources that help women and children regain stability and move toward permanent housing.
“Congratulations to all the teams who made Housing Heroes a success,” ” said Executive Director Amy DeCaron.“This friendly competition shows just how much our community cares about our families in crisis.”
The campaign concluded with a celebratory event at Hoptown, where supporters gathered to recognize participants, share stories of impact, and celebrate the difference being made across the community.
HOMe remains committed to serving families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, ensuring that those in need have access to safe shelter and supportive services.
