A Mooresville-based company is gaining attention after demonstrating an advanced system designed to address the growing use of unmanned aerial drones.
MSI Defense Solutions recently held a live demonstration of its Electronic Advanced Ground Launcher System, known as EAGLS. The system is designed to detect, track, and engage drones using radar, targeting technology, and guided rockets.
The system can be mounted on vehicles and operated remotely. It is designed to provide a mobile solution for countering drone threats.
The EAGLS system is already being used overseas, including in the Middle East.
The company states the system is intended to provide a more cost-effective option compared to traditional missile systems when addressing lower-cost drone threats.
