Legends, Lyrics, & Lifelong Legacies

If you’re a fan of music, history, or just an epic night out, get ready for the event of the season! On October 17, the Charles Mack Citizen Center will host the 2024 North Carolina Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony from 6-10 p.m. Enjoy a delicious dinner as you witness some of the state’s most iconic artists take their rightful place in North Carolina’s music history. This is your chance to be part of an unforgettable evening.

Imagine this: a room filled with musical greatness, the kind of legends whose voices, beats, and lyrics have been the soundtrack of your life. This year’s inductees are a reflection of North Carolina’s diverse musical roots.

Remember when Petey Pablo waved his Carolina flag? He’s back being honored for his contributions to hip-hop. Bluegrass superstar Bobby Hicks, whose fiddle playing has won countless hearts, will also be inducted. Indie label Merge Records, a launchpad for some of the coolest bands, will be recognized for their massive influence. But that’s not all—Mary Dawson, a name synonymous with operatic excellence, and Clarence Avant, the music industry’s behind-the-scenes genius, will both be inducted. NCMHOF is even bringing back the classic sounds of Tommy Faile, who has long been a beloved figure in country and gospel music.

This is more than just an induction ceremony—it’s a celebration of music, life, and legacy! You’ll experience heartfelt stories, electrifying performances, and the kind of energy that can only come from being in a room full of people who live and breathe music. Whether you’re a casual listener or a die-hard fan, you’re going to want to be there!

We can’t wait to see you at the Charles Mack Citizen Center for this epic night of music. For tickets and more information visit northcarolinamusichalloffame.org
