Phaedra Pistone, the founder of Classic Bride and CB Boutique, has built a name for herself not only in bridal fashion but also as a passionate advocate for early breast cancer detection and as a titleholder of Mrs. NC Intl 2025. Her journey has been one of love, strength, and a commitment to uplifting others, both through her business and her advocacy.

Phaedra’s love for fashion, particularly bridal couture, led her to start Classic Bride and CB Boutique.
“I wanted to build a space where brides feel celebrated, confident, and truly special as they find the dress of their dreams,” Phaedra explains. “My boutique is more than just selling dresses—it’s about creating a memorable experience, filled with joy, love, and support.”
Her boutique stands apart from others through its personalized service and exclusive offerings. From the moment a bride walks in, Phaedra and her team treat each one like family. “We focus on a fun and supportive environment that takes the stress out of wedding dress shopping,” Phaedra says. “Our boutique also stands out because of our exclusive collections and private bridal suites, where each bride can enjoy a curated, one-on-one appointment.”

Running a business while juggling advocacy work and pageantry is no small feat, but Phaedra is up for the challenge. “Balancing everything is definitely a challenge, but I’ve learned to prioritize and stay organized,” she shares. “Passion fuels me—I love what I do, whether it’s helping a bride find her dream gown, advocating for early breast cancer detection, or representing North Carolina on the pageant stage.”

Phaedra’s success is not just in business, but in how she uses her platform to make a difference. Her advocacy for early breast cancer detection is deeply personal—she is a two-time breast cancer survivor.
“Both times, early detection saved my life,” Phaedra shares. “That’s why I’m so passionate about spreading awareness and encouraging women to be proactive about their health.”
Her initiative, “Check Your 2 on the 2nd,” is a simple yet powerful reminder for women to check their breasts regularly. “After my second diagnosis, I realized how many women put off their own health,” Phaedra explains. “I wanted a simple, memorable way to remind women to check themselves regularly, so ‘Check Your 2 on the 2nd’ was born.”

Through pageantry, Phaedra has also had the opportunity to share her advocacy on a larger scale. As Mrs. NC Intl 2025, she uses her platform to connect with people in Mooresville and beyond, spreading awareness and raising funds for important causes. “Whether it’s through speaking engagements, social media, or community events, I love connecting with people and using my voice to promote early breast cancer detection,” Phaedra says.

Living and working in Mooresville has shaped Phaedra’s journey in ways that go beyond business.
“The sense of community here is incredible,” she says. “Mooresville has that small-town charm where neighbors feel like family, but it’s also growing and full of opportunity. I may not work directly in Mooresville, but it’s where I come home to. I love the beautiful lake views and the friendly faces around town—Mooresville truly feels like home.”
Phaedra’s message to those facing challenges, whether in business or in life, is clear: “Believe in yourself, trust your vision, and don’t be afraid to take risks. There will be challenges, but persistence and hard work will take you far.”

For those newly diagnosed with breast cancer, Phaedra has words of encouragement:
“You are stronger than you know. Lean on your support system, take things one step at a time, and never be afraid to ask for help. You are not alone, and there is a community of survivors ready to lift you up.”
Her commitment to community is also reflected in her involvement with local organizations. “Whether it’s raising awareness for breast cancer, supporting small businesses, or volunteering, I use my title as a way to shine a light on causes that matter,” Phaedra explains. “Pageantry is not just about wearing a crown—it’s about using it to create real change.”

Phaedra’s business, advocacy, and pageantry all come together to inspire others and make a lasting impact.
“Community is about support, encouragement, and making a difference together,” she says. “Mooresville has been a place where I’ve grown, thrived, and built meaningful connections.”
For Phaedra, the journey is just beginning. She’s excited to launch her “Check Your 2 on the 2nd” podcast, where she plans to share survivor stories and continue promoting the importance of early detection. “It’s a dream come true to share these stories and use this platform to create even more awareness,” she says.

Phaedra Pistone’s story is one of resilience, passion, and a deep commitment to making the world a better place, one woman at a time.
