Summer Camp Staff Opportunities Open at Keyauwee Program Center

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P) invites aspiring camp counselors to apply for a 2026 summer camp position at Keyauwee Program Center.

GSCP2P welcomes new applications of individuals who are passionate and enthusiastic to bring camp magic to life. This team builds their collaboration and leadership skills through diverse experiences to ensure campers create unforgettable memories and have the summer of their dreams.

“Girl Scout summer camp is the place to have a new adventure every day where both campers and staff have fun, learn and grow,” said Elaine Loyack, CEO of GSCP2P. “Our summer camp staff members are vital in guiding all girls to build their courage, confidence and character.”

Camp counselors make valuable connections with campers and fellow staff members while gaining professional skills in areas that can help them succeed today and in their futures.

“Girl Scouts teaches kids to be brave, kind, helpful, responsible and empowered. Being a role model to my campers and helping them reach their potential is definitely one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done,” said Claire Delano, a previous camp counselor for GSCP2P. “Some of the most bittersweet moments are when campers tearfully tell the counselors that they’ll miss us. It’s sad, but it also makes us happy to know we’ve made a difference in some way.”

Prior Girl Scout experience is not needed for summer camp positions with food, lodging and pre-camp training included in its opportunities.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
