The Mooresville Youth Council invites teens in the community to Downtown Mooresville for a free event full of activities designed to help prepare them for the future.
The “Professional Development Summit” will take place on Sunday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Charles Mack Citizen Center.
The Summit will feature a variety of booths and speakers offering valuable insight into professional opportunities. Attendees will gain helpful knowledge on interview tips, resume building, public speaking, and professional etiquette to better prepare for future success.
Local organizations and businesses will host booths highlighting internship, volunteer, scholarship, and job opportunities available to teens in Mooresville. The event is designed to strengthen professional skills and boost confidence as teens begin their career journeys.
The first 50 teens who pre-register will receive an Interview Readiness Kit, including items such as a name tag, pen, resume template, and portfolio.
