Mooresville Arts is pleased to announce its 12th Annual Winter Juried Exhibition!

This year’s exhibit attracted 111 submissions from 60 artists. Out of the 111 entries, 42 pieces of artwork, created by 31 artists, were chosen for the exhibition. This year’s Juror was Megan Mathieu Tran, Managing Director of Elder Gallery in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Accepted artwork for the Winter Juried Exhibit includes paintings, photography, pottery, wood, glass, and mixed media work, and this show will be on display in Mooresville Arts Center and Skylight Galleries. Most of the artwork on view is for sale, and art sales directly benefit local artists and Mooresville Arts, a nonprofit organization.

Mrs. Tran, Show Juror, had this overall commentary for the exhibit:

“This exhibition is overspilling with a variety of talents and specialties. It is a great example of the creative, technical diversity of the region and a feast for the eyes. Congratulations to all featured artists, and a warm, heartfelt thank you to all of the dedicated creatives who took the time to submit their work for consideration in the 12th Annual Winter Juried Exhibition!” – Morgan Mathieu Tran, Exhibit Juror
