Mooresville Arts Announces its 43rd Annual Artoberfest Judged Show & Competition!

76 artists entered the show this year, for a total of 134 entries. Artists from Mooresville, Cornelius, Huntersville, Charlotte and beyond are showcasing their talent and creativity in this exhibit, which is one of
Mooresville Arts most popular and long-standing shows. Artwork ranges from paintings, drawings, mixed media, pottery, glass, and more! Artwork is for sale and art sales directly benefit local artists and Mooresville Arts, a nonprofit art gallery.

Thank you to this year’s Judge, Molly Kennedy, Gallery Director of Anne Neilson Fine Art in Charlotte, for lending her time, keen eye and expertise in viewing the exhibit and selecting the show’s top honors.

Artoberfest is on display now in the Mooresville Arts Gallery through Thursday, November 13th.

Gallery Hours are Tuesday-Saturday 12-4pm. The artists’ reception and awards ceremony will be held on Friday, October 10 th from 6-9pm; awards will be presented at 7pm – join us to find out who will take home top honors from this amazing exhibit! In conjunction with the Artoberfest reception, Mooresville Arts is partnering with the Mooresville Downtown
Commission to bring “Art & Acoustics” to downtown Mooresville on the same night! Guests can expect to meet artists, experience live art demonstrations, listen to live music, and enjoy our downtown social district on a lovely, fall evening in the heart of downtown Mooresville. Join us! All are welcome!
