Families Can Give the Gift of Girl Scouting This Holiday Season

Families with girls in grades K-12 can give her the gift of fun, friends and adventure this holiday season by giving the gift of a Girl Scout membership through Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P) this December.

Beginning the Girl Scout journey is an investment that will last all year long as girls will grow their confidence, make new friends, explore their interests and learn what it takes to make the world a better place.

“Giving the gift of Girl Scouting means giving a local girl the opportunity to make an impact in her community, find adventure and lead her way,” said Sandi Heavener, Director of Girl Scout Engagement at GSCP2P. “This is a great way for families to continue the holiday spirit of giving and togetherness throughout the year.”

There are endless activities within the Girl Scout Leadership Experience that focus on STEM, outdoors, life skills and entrepreneurship, so there is something for every girl to enjoy as she experiences the growth of Girl Scouts.

Families can ring in the new year with new friends and experiences by visiting www.BeAGirlScout.org/join to give the gift of Girl Scouting to their girl in grades K-12 this holiday season.

Community members interested in giving the gift of Girl Scouting to local families can support GSCP2P’s Friendship Fund which supports both girls and adult volunteers by covering essential costs, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of full participation in the Girl Scout experience: https://bit.ly/p2pfriendshipfund
