Mooresville’s Own Phaedra Pistone Crowned Mrs. International 2025

Mooresville native and two-time breast cancer survivor Phaedra Pistone has brought home an international title, being crowned Mrs. International 2025 at the prestigious Mrs. International Pageant in Kingsport, Tennessee. Representing North Carolina on the world stage, Pistone’s win shines a spotlight on her hometown and her life-saving platform, Check Your 2 on the 2nd.

Pistone’s initiative encourages women worldwide to perform regular self-breast exams on the second day of every month and to schedule annual mammograms, emphasizing that early detection saves lives, something she knows firsthand. Diagnosed with breast cancer twice, Pistone credits her own advocacy for helping her catch both diagnoses early.

“I am deeply honored to represent not only North Carolina but also my hometown of Mooresville on the international stage,” Pistone said. “This title is more than a crown, it’s a microphone to share a message that has already saved lives and will continue to do so around the world.”

On an international level, Pistone has partnered with Learn Look Locate, a global breast cancer awareness network connecting survivors, thrivers, and medical experts to share life-saving information and resources in more than 30 countries. This collaboration expands her mission across borders, ensuring that women everywhere have access to education and encouragement for early detection.

Outside of her advocacy work, Pistone is the owner of Classic Bride & Formals in Huntersville, NC, where she helps brides find their dream gowns. She also hosts Capturing the Crown, a digital show spotlighting pageant journeys, inspiring women, and community service.

As Mrs. International, Pistone will spend her year traveling nationally and internationally to promote breast cancer awareness, support women’s health initiatives, and partner with organizations like Charlotte Radiology, the American Cancer Society, Go Jen Go, and Learn Look Locate. She is available for public appearances, keynote speaking engagements, media interviews, and community events to share her inspiring story and life-saving message.

The Mrs. International Pageant celebrates women who make a difference in their communities through service, leadership, and dedication to their families. Pistone’s win is a proud moment for Mooresville, highlighting both her personal resilience and her commitment to helping others.
